Developed a company-wide, information management system for Holsted Marketing, Inc., a Direct Marketing Syndicator. System provides the operational facilities for managing this $200M/year business. Project entails management of $30M per year inventory including integration of information flow both within the company and with external entities, e.g. order processors, vendors, service providers. Responsible for determining technologies to be applied, hiring and managing software development team, Database Design, C++ and TSQL programming, project management, liaison with business managers.
- Designed and developed detailed specifications for enterprise sales forecasting/inventory management system.
- Designed database using Embarcadero erStudio. Wrote enhancements to erStudio to enable custom trigger generation and to automatically update stored procedures during database generation process. Wrote all triggers and stored procedures for the database in Transact SQL.
- Developed a full suite of
DTS scripts to migrate data from legacy FoxPro DBFs. Wrote a shell program
in VB to manage and automate execution of DTS packages
